Ditto. Also I bought a case of the Monsters series so I have a few of those extra, if you're interested.

At $350, I'll be waiting for double VIP. But if it were something I really HAD to build right now, then damn the double points. 10% ain't all that much anyway. Stupid TLG and their no-sale-on-exclusives. I still remember picking up a SSD at 30% off back in the day.

Swung by my Toys r Us and picked up a C-3PO, I had to explain to the manager what it was before he realized what I was talking about though haha.

Is the lego advent calendar a yearly thing? Last year I slept on it and missed out, but if they do it annually, I'd like to grab one this year.

They do it every year. Now they have three; City, Star Wars, and Friends. Here's a link to the City one (but they show what each item is, in case you wanted to be surprised):

Buy sooner than later. They are typically long gone by Black Friday.

If you have a Target nearby, try there too. Mine has them. Don't know about Walmart or Toys R Us.

They'll be back in January though, mostly in clearance sections. And they're not really year-sensitive. But yeah, if you want it for this Christmas, get one ASAP. Or, browse ebay for past year editions. You should be able to get a decent deal near retail, and some years were def better than others.
