Anyone in the UK pick one of these magazines up? http://www.blocksmag.com/

Shipping is killer outside the UK, but Id be interested in it if it was worth the money.

Stockist list says my local shop has it so I'll check. Can ship it out for a couple of quid by airmail if you want.

Was eyeing that up when the pilot issue came out, just didnt wanna drop $30 bucks to see what it was like though.

If you do end up tracking them down id appreciate one aswell if you dont mind. Might finally make me pull the trigger on the Tumbler too.

My mom is going through her garage and found this, one end is not sealed due to age, but it's brand new otherwise. Still in debate on if we keep it or try to sell???

Wow mapman, that is super cool! Looks like a city set that they were trying to use leftover blacktron pieces with those green windshields and the black angular arches lol, but SUPER awesome its still all together and sealed!

Here is one on the bay that looks new for price reference: http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/1114906713 ... rid=229466

I was out of the LEGO game during the 90's, only figured out it was from that era when I saw the EP1 stuff on one of the pamphlets inside the box.

My son wants it, but if I can get $50 for it, I think I'd rather put it towards some other newer, larger set.

I bought the first issue and it was well worth a read. Haven't spotted the second issue yet, but haven't been into town to get hold of it.

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but for all you lego people, I had the opportunity to go to the AI Weiwei art exhibit "@Large on Alcatraz" in San Francisco featuring a lego installation with images of 175 prisoners from the likes of Edward Snowden to Nelson Mandela. There are something like 1.2million lego pieces.
If you get the chance check it out, pretty amazing.

I know at some point we talked about posting pics of holiday themed set ups and such, so here is what we had up for halloween. Its pretty much all the Monster Fighter series except for the Creature set, the Vampyre castle, and the Coffin Car poly. No Zombies set either. Too rich for my blood. I felt having the castle was redundant with the haunted house, but if I find a used one for a good price I'll get it. I put some elements from the other polybags in the house, like the grandfather clock. At some point, I want to make a line of trick-or-treaters walking up to the house with the superhero figs and kid legs. Maybe next year...

Stumbled across a Lone Ranger train set yesterday new in box (box was beat to hell) for $70. Passed, but considered going back for it.

I would definitely buy that for 9 bucks. Speaking of which, rancor pit is $40.99 on Amazon right now. That's about $20 off and qualifies for free shipping.
