If that is not some sort of sponsored set-up then the cost must be insane, literally thousands just for the orc figures.

perfect timing to order something from the lego shop, you still get the double points and you get a free christmas set if you spend 99$ or 55€

i just picked up the palace cinema, the last one i needed, and then i'll wait for the parisian restaurant
i apologize to anyone who fought a grizzly bear to make it to a computer. i appreciate the support.

Saw that too! I thought the exclusive sets were only for Nov and Dec, but I guess now is the time to order some new holiday sets, get double points and the exclusive! Woohoo!

First time caller, long time listener.

Is the Technic 4X4 Crawler really that limited at 20,000?? Got a shop near me selling one for $189 and wondering if I should pick one up. anyone see these as being sought-after a few years down the road?

thanks, I'll hang up and listen.

Are you referring to set 9398 or the exclusive 41999?

I see some on eBay, but lowest there is around $200 with a few days left to go and has legitimate bids (from what I can tell). Seems like a good price to me if its still sealed, since it was originally $199 anyways, right? Are you looking to buy for yourself or flip? Not sure of the flip-ness on it, but if its one you want to actually build, I'd hit that lol

Anyone else chime in? This set isn't as much on my radar, stopped the Technic stuff a while back for myself.

These were going for at least double as soon as it was showing as sold out on the Lego site but maybe things have calmed down a bit. I would say get it if you see one at the original prince.
