Isn't all that fudge mass produced anyway except for the Comic Con exclusives?

Yep, but once sets are discontinued they can still increase in value. I have no doubt the Millennium Falcon was mass produced and that goes for $3k now.

Lego modulars are good to invest in. The ones from a few years ago are already in the $600-1k range. Although harder to store than prints, and don't damage the box!

those modulars are so addictive, i just bought and built my 3rd one this year, the fire brigade. another great built, love the bricks on the front, and details inside are so good.
i am running out on space to display these tho.

that has been my favorite out of the 3 so far. also love its two separate buildings, so you can place them anywhere in your street

ooooooohhhh, I didn't realize that you could separate the town house from the pet shop! Very nice.

So far I've only built the Fire Brigade. But I modified the new Spiderman Daily Bugle to fit into the street as well as a self made Police Station. Have to get Grand Emporium and Pet Shop soon.

Like the idea of a Perisian (sp?) restaurant coming next.

The plan is to have them all. Based on the release dates I should purchase GE first as it "should" be the first to go. I'll eventually need more room to display this curbside properly.
