Also, I don't buy the apple core thing. My apples have cores and its not some crazy mind trick, they have seeds and fudge. If you have an apple without seeds, then you don't have a real apple.

If the GIF showed a longer cycle I'd expect to see the core get forced out of the center hub.

Apple seeds contain arsenic in trace amounts and, while not really a danger to humans, they can be deadly to smaller animals such as rabbits because arsenic is bio-accumulative. So if you are ever feeding your rabbits apples, remove the seeds first.

right, i have an apple corer too to make pie, but an apple only has a core because you make one, there is no reason to not eat 100% of the entire apple, the "core" is not harder or anything, just don't eat the seeds

I can't believe this is even a discussion. Maybe all the dudes on here have wolf jaws and don't notice the center of an apple is noticibly more tough than the rest. Next thing they will saying peeling a banana is pointless.
