Agreed. I've been going after single hop lately since a lot of the ipas use 3-4 hop varieties, which really muddles the flavor. Resident makes a series of single hop hazys I've really been enjoying.

Aftermarket on these babies is fierce I'm hoping it settles down after a week or two. $75-$100 is way too much for a bottle of ipa
That's ridiculous.

It is ludicrous. But as someone who has had younger many different years, it's a damn good beer and the hype is real!!!
Whats nice is that when Younger is tapped, there are other barrel aged sours on tap, too. Makes it a whole experience and junk.

broke down and just bought it off that beer site. First time being a custy. Was $75 for both, free shipping. I missed Elder, hadn't had it in quite a while. The Younger was really freaking good. Definitely the best triple ipa I've had. Not usually a fan because they tend to be like rocket fuel but this was very smooth.

What did bottles cost from the brewery?
Elder goes for somewhere around $6, and Russian River doesn't price gouge. I've never picked up (or seen) a younger, but I'd guess around $10 directly from them?

I was surprised too that they jumped on that style. First RR brew in a can maybe?
