Any of you St. Louis guys - is Sump a huge deal locally? I absolutely love the beer, but it started hitting distribution here today and people are losing their fudge over it. Gone within 30-45 min of stores opening their doors.
Sump is awesome...sells out w/ the quickness here in NYC when we get it..sells between $18-22 per bottlePrintNoob87 wrote:Any of you St. Louis guys - is Sump a huge deal locally? I agree - it's a great beer. I was just kind of surprised as I thought I'd be able to swing by after work and grab a bottle. Suppose it doesn't help most places get a case or two tops.

Perennial doesn't distribute to Indiana so....
they are making plans to expand very soon and almost double their brewing capacity, so I'd expect to see them in a lot more markets next year. Sump is fantastic though and the BA Sump is so good it makes me wanna poke myself in the eye.

What are you asking about, Abraxas? If so, then the answer is yes. Hell the regular is worth it at about $21-25.Codeblue wrote:Anyone had the barrel aged yeti? Worth $28 a bottle?

A little. I read "barrel aged yet" like you were referencing something up top in the thread.Codeblue wrote:Uuuum no. I said barrel aged yeti. Still drunk from last night?
Yeti can be really great or really weird. I hear the oak is awful, but the bourbon is ok. I think I've only ever had a mocha-something version, and it was middle of the road.

Oak aged yeti wasn't that good. Would not recommend.
The ~$10 yeti variants are ok. Espresso is probably the best and oatmeal isn't bad either.
I haven't had the barrel aged yeti, which is not the same as the oak aged yeti. It's probably good but there are other brews I'd spend $30 on first.

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately...
Y'all are no help. Bought it anyway since it was actually $25 and the last one. Also grabbed 4 barrel aged bomb. Expensive day but I'm drymounting stoked.
