a bit of a long day, but a good haul. too much driving. dropped down to Madison WI before hitting CW today for Black Gold. managed a decent snag of some Three Floyds in Madison.

2 x Alpha King sixers
1 x Pear Bear (sour) bomber
6 x Space Station Middle Finger bomber
2 x Moloko (milk stout) bomber
1 x Zombie Dust bottle

how were they?
haven't had it in bottles, but had it on tap back in August...very good!
What was the verdict on these? Everyone I've talked to says the green flash distro sucks and that the plan is to nuke the brewery's original bottling line. Shame, as I loved their beers.

Alpha King is great! Space station is meh IMO.

Not bad but definitely not as good as the other three floyds beers I've had.

I drank a bomber of war mullet last night and it was pretty good.

Zombie Dust and Permanent Funeral are great. Moloko is great. Some of the Dark Lord variants are great. I used to really love 3f, but have had some super questionable beers from them too.

ive had zombie dust only a handful of times. tonight might be the fourth one i have had. though always enjoyable, with fresh sue being around now, gotta go Sue > ZD.

unfortunately, no permanent funeral was around. im looking forward to the moloko. i have a bottle of this years dark lord that i have yet to crack. will be my first.

PF is not only my favorite FFF beer but it's probably my favorite beer period. It's pretty great.

I like ZD a lot. Very solid APA but like Pliny, I think it's incredibly overrated.

I love ZD. Could drink it as a desert island beer. Pliny is great too but I take it for granted since it's on tap here all the time. I don't think the overrated thing really factors into it for me; if I love it, I love it. Good beers are esteemed for a reason, generally!
