500ml or 750ml bottles? Either way, that's darn cheap nowadays.

500ml, 16.9oz bottles of the bcbs reg. No variants tho. I'd try that barleywine if it jumped at me.

Got it. Thought you were still referencing BQE. My mistake.

Oh my bad, yeah the bqe doesn't usually hit distro. Pretty sure the bqe's are 22s, prob around $22-$25 bucks a bottle.

Sam you pre-order?

Speaking of coffee, Sam at OH just dropped the news he's opening a coffee roasters thing. All coffee everything.

Yep, someone upstate had asked if I could grab two of those Banana ones for them. I picked up the Vietnamese and Chocolate one, just annoying to have to pickup on Saturday only. Gonna go to the one in Brooklyn as its a bit closer, can't wait for Finback LIC to open though.

Invisible Force Coffee (Finback's brand) is very nice, as is their spirits line. Hard to hit on all three

Queens location is a pita to park at, plus the one day pickup kinda stinks for sure. I didn't have the oznr app so I didn't bother to look. Did they have a box set like years past?

Enjoy :pint:

It's sitting on the shelves at a few places here.

I had it last night and liked it quite a bit. Of the coffee-stouts the KBS Espresso is still probably my favorite, but this was really good. A bit thinner consistency than I like in my high ABV stouts, but none of the super heavy alcohol aftertaste that comes with a lot of the 10%+ fudge.

Thanks! Don't like hearing the thinness so might steer clear unless I easily happen to locate it.

Yeah, it’s definitely the one negative.

One that’s pretty easy to find - I tried the Super Pistache Bros from Prairie Artisan Ales, it has that good stout thickness and a heavy chocolate taste so it's basically like drinking 13.6% hot chocolate. Was really damn tasty.

Noice. Most good prairie stuff is still hard to come by round here, but if I see it, will try it.

Didn't care for the nuttiness of it (I prefer my hot chocolate without nuts).
