A BEER COMPANY WILL PAY YOU $12,000 TO TRAVEL AND DRINK BEER ALL SUMMER
If I didn't have a real job.... and a family.... I would be all over this. I assume 1/3, to 1/2, of EB could apply for this.
I'd set the bar at 70% of EBers.

To me, gueze (typically a blend of 3 vintages of lambic) has a very distinct taste or funk to it (hay, horseblanket, cob webs, etc) - pretty difficult to describe, but you'd notice the uniqueness right away. From what I've found, the funk level can vary based upon the brewery. drie fonteinen is higher on the funk scale than tilquin imo. I've never had cantillion's "standard" gueze, so i can't comment on funk level.

If you want to dip your toes into gueze, try to grab one of these locally. It's a mix of belgian yeast and wild yeast from minneapolis air. The funk level was on the lower side and is a good entry point to the style. Only down side is the price - $15 for a 375ml

The flavor/taste equivalent to cob webs. That sounds like something I'd like to try.
