Beer - trading & discussion
I live in Machesney Park, just north of Rockford. I’m not sure I have anything crazy, but if you want to make a trade and have a beer, let me know.pvecchi wrote:Anyone around the Madison, WI area wanted to maybe trade for some older BCBS?
I have 2 2012 and maybe 4 2013 bottles....maybe a coffee or barleywine or two
Trying to clean out my basement a little bit and maybe trade for things I drink more regularly than these
I'm looking for some tasty fresh IPAs or interesting fruits/sours/meads., etc... PM me if you have some ideas
Id maybe sell them but would be looking for pretty standard pricing I suppose
Would prefer something in person.

Cigar City has finally come to my neck of so cal and Jai Alai is freaking fantastic. I would say this IPA is comparable if not better tasting than Pliny (IIPA). Super stoked to try more offerings!

Yeah, we just got it here too. I picked up some Guayabera Citra Pale Ale but haven't tried it yet.

I grew up drinking it since we could get it in Alabama. The first time I had a Pliny on the west coast, the first thing me and my friend said to each other was, "This tastes a lot like Jai Alai."HisBobness wrote:Cigar City has finally come to my neck of so cal and Jai Alai is freaking fantastic. I'm in Madison and am heading out to Boston for the Marathon. I'll probably be bringing back some Trillium and other IPAs. PM me if you want to chat.kcn0 wrote:I live in Machesney Park, just north of Rockford. Yes sir! Demand is high and making people wait in line for a draft or a crowler got to be a small hassle for some. Nick, the head brewer and owner, started making more and being proactive! Love that place!dero316 wrote:Are they prefilling crowlers now? Never seen the typed name on their cans.phishstix101 wrote:Straight joooooooz!
Hoping to get there this Sunday but it may end up being next Sunday.
