Anyone go to the prairie stout release today? Looks like it was mad.
pay via paypal, use credit card, file dispute at the 20 day mark if suspicious. don't deal with noobs. don't trade with noobs. request feedback ahead of time. there are lots of good people 'round here.

Nice. I finally made it to Monkish today. Wasn't able to stay for more than a half hour, but finally got to see what all the hype is about. The stout they had on tap was really good.

ah, much later than i was there.
i feel like it was. guess i will find out when i crack those green cheek cans. they had some decent recommendations so i bought them blindly, as i didnt have time to hang around.
cant go wrong with the monkish ipas either. makes it easier to eat the cost of two tanks of gas and the driving time.
being able to resell the empty monkish bottles cuts the cost too.

was there too. if i would've known, would've brought something so that we could drink in line!Codeblue wrote:Yes. I was visiting fam and hit both on the way back down.
I got there after the line had died down. Arrived a little after 5 and was in and out in under 15 minutes. That's the way all in person drops should be. I thought about hitting you up but it was a spur of the moment thing since traffic in that part of LA wasn't too bad for a change. The traffic for most of the rest of the way back was awful though.

Luls. When I left there was 0 line and still about 40 prints left. I figured it wouldn't be that big a deal given the price tag and the fact that it was on a Sunday late afternoon. They also had about 50 more prints from the run than I thought they'd have.
