Keep an eye out for the bourbon barrel aged Paradise:hunterjax wrote:The Prairie Artisan Ales Paradise was fantastic. If I can get another bottle, I'm definitely going to age it.

Probably considered thin for a BA stout, but about the same as KBS.kansasbbq wrote:Heard 2017 CBS is a bit thin. Is that true?

Something real nice rolling out from Alchemist
We’re happy to announce that the second bottling of Petit Mutant is ready and available tomorrow in Stowe! This batch of Petit Mutant is 13 months in the making. It’s brewed with German Pilsner Malt and American Cascade hops, fermented entirely with a wild yeast known as Brettanomyces Bruxellensis, and then it is re-fermented with over 3000 lbs of Monmorency cherries grown locally in South Hero, VT at Allenholm Farm. This beer is a true labor of love for us here at the Alchemist and we’re excited to share it with you.

pretty much what JJ said. i feel like DSDB is so spot on with the mix that its hard to beat. CSV was great, second time having it, but still.
on another note, CBS finally hit in AZ. not too bad of a day. two bottles and a 32oz fill.

as mentioned above CBS is a tad thin, but the Maple is there very nicely as is the coffee, barrel presence could be a bit more, but otherwise delicious..also, not as sweet as previous years

largest allotment a store down here saw was 8 cases of CBS. sold out in 45 minutes. one store did a two bottle limit. everything else was 1pp. most lasted 30-45 minutes.

I hadn't heard about Black Breath until it arrived, was an extra that surprised me. As far as CBS we had some stores get 18 cases. You could get 6 max at some stores and I heard one place had no limit and someone bought 2 cases
I missed out though on the pizza joint that was selling 10 oz. pours of CBS today for $2. Guessing that keg popped pronto.
