Longtime lurker in this thread. Some great people, discussions, and recommendations here. Though it was about time I said howdy. Awesome breweries here in Atlanta and Athens (SweetWater, Red Brick, Orpheus, Second Self, Monday Night, Three Taverns, Red Hare, Wild Heaven, Creature Comforts, Terrapin, and Jekyll to name a few). Usually hit at least one of them weekly. Maybe I can help with some ISO's/trades. Love most styles, except farmhouse ales.

Here is this weeks random grab. Nothing too spectacular, but a decent haul. :pint:

Check out Hop World at Krog Street Mkt in ATL, super good folks and you can bust any pack to get singles. Also, I had a bunch of 3 Tavern's Single Intent last weekend, it's a solid brew. Wasn't too impressed with Monday Night Brew and Wild Heaven's bottled stuff, though.
Hop City is at Krog Street and it is amazing. Huge beer selection with 50 on tap (first 20 local). Not a hug fan of Monday Night Brew, although their "Black Tie" series is pretty good (Spirit Animal is a really good sour). 3 Taverns "A Night On Ponce" is an impressive IPA.

I didn't really care for this year's batch all that much.

Yes, Hop City...my bad. I was there last weekend during my visit to ATL. Good spot. Went to Total Wine in Buckhead as well, it's decent...but the Krog shop is my favorite.

Also had a societe pupil on tap, a bronze ipa that was quite tasty and slightly sweet, without being totally on that end like a sculpin for example

Hooray for day drinking
The pupil is one seriously good beer :pint:

The High Water Campfire Stout was pretty damn good (roasted marshmallow notes), so hoping these Maple Bourbon Pecan Pie's are too. Baker, one of these are for you. I couldn't bring myself to purchase a $40 Cascade sour yesterday, so grabbed an Almanac Dogpatch Sour instead.

Dog patch sour is great. Are the cascade sours worth the price tag?
