Awesome fredo, that was one of the recipes I ran across. Can't wait to hear how it turns out.fredo wrote:I got this one in the carboy now, except I traded out some of the US hops for New Zealand. It was supposed to have finished primary fermentiation in 2 weeks, but after three she's still bubbling like a mofo.Vedderman23 wrote:Any homebrewers here make an attempt at a Pliny clone yet? Have found a few extract recipes online, and a couple kits, just curious if anyone has done one that stands out from the rest. Northern Brewer has one on the inside of their latest catalog, but it's not on their website for some reason. Since I haven't had the privilege of trying the real thing yet, figured I'd try out a clone.

Thought it was getting to WI last week but looks like it's either today or tomorrow. Can't wait.partpat wrote:mattlew69 wrote:Had some Hopslam last night. Delicious!

Not sure why but this is my favorite reasonably easy to get hoppy seasonal beer.PrintNoob87 wrote:Thought it was getting to WI last week but looks like it's either today or tomorrow. Can't wait.partpat wrote:mattlew69 wrote:Had some Hopslam last night. Delicious!

It's really, really good. Also had a Palate Wrecker, West Cost IPA, and a Sucks for the first time over the weekend. Really enjoyed them all.
Picked up a pack of Palate Wrecker yesterday, haven't tried it yet though. Am working my way from oldest to newest in the fridge lol.
I really didn't care for Green Bullet. Just seemed too oily to me.mattlew69 wrote:In lieu of Palate Wrecker, I went with a Green Bullet Triple IPA last night.
Very tasty.
