So ive been after/wanting an old aussie car since before I owned my first car, so about 10 years now.
I was keen back then but put a hold on it because what I wanted was too powerful for a P plate licence. Fair enough. Since ive had my full licence ive only owned 4wd’s (I outdoor/hunt a lot).
Well for the past few months ive been looking around and seriously considering finally picking one up, and I might’ve found the perfect car. I’m going to check it out on saturday and I cant wait. Super excited.

If it all works out like im hoping I will surely share a pic of it here.

yeah, I sold it at least 20 years ago. you can only own so many cars in one lifetime, unless your Jay Leno or Reggie Jackson.

Sweet ride man. I recently purchased a 14 Subaru Crosstrek. Saving up for a couple mods now.
I really want there to be an STI Crosstrek or at the very least a WRX version with a 2.5l and 6 speed stick.

If was (or maybe is) a 1988 Pontiac Fiero... but it only remains a Fiero with the frame, some wiring, and the windshield. The rest, inside and out, have been stripped and hand built. Here is what is looked like (not my actual car though)

Thanks.

I'm not rich, and I REALLY wasn't when the project started. I've taught myself to weld, fiberglass, woodwork, etc., and I now have the confidence to try just about anything on a car.

It should be ready to drive, although not complete, by spring 2016. The goal was that we would each have a 'show car', so we could spend more time together. It's been exciting, fun, and frustrating, but I wouldn't change where we are at now.
