I'm tempted to get Civilisation 6 on the Switch. I've never played a Switch game before. What's it like for newcomers? Is it fairly easy to get into?

I think I'll be getting it for my wife. She and her dad would always play on PC (I think Civ IV is their favorite). I've never played, but she's talked about how she'd like to try the new one. And she really only plays Mario Kart with me on the Switch, so I'd like to get something that she'll enjoy playing on her own, too.

There's local co-op on the switch from what I understand.

It's a great game to play on an iPad if you have one of the larger ones. I haven't tried it out on Switch but should work well on that format.

There's def a learning curve and the games are typically pretty long. Maybe start with settings on easy and the game speed set to quick to help ease into it.

Easily my favorite game of all time. Checked my steam account and looks like I've logged >600 hours combined across Civ IV, V, and VI  and

Been giving it a good go on the Switch. A perfect portable game. A bit of a learning curve - of course - but I'm getting there slowly. I understand that there's a wealth of things to learn as I go on. Starting off on the basic starter maps before I head to the Australia map.

I had an original Playstation years ago and was blown away by Resident Evil when it first came out. I have an Xbox now and love how they updated RE2.
I couldn't put it down. I hope the new RE3 is just as good. I forgot how much fun those games are.

Anyone pumped for Final Fantasy VII?

Have not played a video game for decades, bought a ps4 just for this game. Original changed my life. I can't wait.

The edited version in my head of TLoU2 is good. I enjoy how the game plays A LOT.

Also just started Ghost.

Also excited to see the Spiderman Miles Morales on PS5 has a 60 FPS mode :pint:
