^I’m gonna throw out a wild guess that he doesn’t approve of Prince Harry’s engagement to Meghan Markle.

A brilliant scam. If you don't know, Amazon let's 3rd party "dealers" send inventory in to their warehouses be fulfilled by Amazon. When doing this the dealer has the option to use the generic upc barcode on the package and commingle the inventory with Amazon's i.e. once it's mixed in the system the source of the bogus product is untraceable. :hanging:

Gorgeous yellow northern cardinal photographed in Alabama.

Image
This coloration is not unique, but it is aberrant, according to a 2003 research paper on what at the time was said to be the first-ever reported yellow northern cardinal in the United States. It was a specimen collected in 1989 in Baton Rouge by scientists at Louisiana State University. Researchers who studied its feathers concluded that the bird had a genetic mutation that impaired the metabolic processes that normally make red feathers out of the carotenoid-rich yellow and orange foods in a male cardinal’s diet.

Wow! What a great photo. There is a family of Arizona cardinals that have nested near my place for many years...probably because there are a lot of citrus trees in neighboring yards. Cardinals have the most beautiful song.

The unsigned prisoners print thread on UAA is amping up.
Worth a read. Glad I didn't buy one.

Feb 2018- Word spreads these are unauthorized/backdoor prints.

so 100 prints were made and signed in 2005 right. at that time, some more were printed but not signed, and some of which were given away with a magazine or something. The rest sat in storage.
12 or so years later, Invader's fame is much higher and his prints are demanding a lot of moolah, so State of Play (the publisher that released them with the magazine) set up a thing with CAT gallery (contemporary art traders) to sell off the rest of the unsigned copies, for a low 1250 GBP each. People snapped them up.

Then a few weeks back, a member posts on the forum that he checked with orbi and invader on the validity of said prints, and they basically said that they are fakes. There were a few email replies from Orbi saying they are not legit, to saying "I guess they are legit"... no really giving a straight answer. I think most have concluded that Invader did not authorise the sale of these prints, and they should have never been printed, or at least sold on later.

so the forum blows up, and CAT says he will sort it all out, but in the meantime will offer a full refund for all those that purchased the print regardless of the outcome. Good bloke.
Well today he posts that he has proof that the prints are legit, and reneges on the refund offer, but does not provide that proof publicly, and then ends his post saying that he will not comment further due to legal reasons.

The last few posts have mentioned legal action, law suits, and police being involved against CAT, some forum members, and even the forum I think.

tl;dr of that - fake invader Prisoners prints were sold for a premium

Are they fakes or just a "bootleg" extension of the original run by the printer?
