4 assumptions, 2 generalisations AND 5 attempts at goading a reaction !!!????

Off with his head!

Get the pitchforks!

:D

I like how you've assumed so much yourself about my comments, yet you correct me for daring to, as you see it, in your opinion, assume !!

I repeat:

Being shot isn't a concern of anybodies over here for some reason..

I have never seen a gun on a civilian in this country that I have lived in for the last twenty years, incidentally.

You have family here. Even if they live in the roughest suburb in any city, they would not be frightened of getting shot. Its really that simple. You know this.

Is there gun violence? In comparison to the US, its practically nil. And you also know this, but that doesn't fit for your narrative. :D

Perhaps do a comparison of both countries ? That'd be worthwhile to support your position that, how did you carefully phrase it..".gun violence exists...", you couldn't have been more vague if you'd tried.

Maybe you could quantify that point with some data?

Heres an idea...

Why not dissect one of your own posts you directed at me recently? In the interests of balance...ya know? :) Certainly not my style, but you seem ok with it, so why not?

We are looking for assumptions, generalisations and attempts to goad, given the parameters you chose...

X, as ever curious as to why you have such a sustained hard-on for US affairs tho?
Assumption. Attempt to goad a reaction. Attempt to have personal opinion stated as fact.

Is rural Australia that dull or does USA still make Australians feel inferior geopolitically and culture-wise.
Attempt to use exceptionalism, whilst an expat. Aussie!! Assumption . Attempt to goad a reaction.
That tear-it-down mentality?
Assumption . Attempt to goad a reaction.

Attempt to goad a reaction.

Mind those stones with that glass house you live in, fool son.

I can’t pass on a nice tie. Just walked out from a store with 4 more. And I don’t even wear them on a daily basis like I used anymore. The wife says I have an issue; maybe she is onto something.

Love me some ties (and shoes). Always did. Don’t know why. Used to wear one every day even when it wasn’t required. Still do a few days a week. Funny enough though, I don’t believe I have any black ties and don’t remember myself wearing a tie to a funeral.
