I won't pretend that I'm familiar with DJ Skee... still very cool nonetheless. Sad to say, too rich for me.

Covid making a comeback in the US in the form of the delta variant. Evidently it is 2-3x more transmissible than the OG version. Australia has very few cases and great contact tracing and they tracked one case where the person walked by someone with Covid in a store and became infected. I wouldn't be surprised if the number of cases explodes in the next 4 weeks. On the positive side of the ledger, if you are vaccinated your chances of getting very sick or dying is very low.
As to the unvaccinated it seems that this 4th wave will be a bit of a Darwin moment. In June, for every 1 vaccinated person who died of Covid, 99 unvaccinated people died.
Stay safe everyone.

It's not going to be good... esp., with Fall/Winter around the corner. Respiratory viruses tend to prefer cooler weather - a time when folks spend much time indoors. More kids will get sick - going back to school and bring it home... not much you can do about that since kids under 12 can't get vac, yet. Do not become complacent, (even if you're vaccinated), when tending to a sick child. Be diligent using PPE's and disinfecting.

TOOL is PUMPING! Buy TOOL!!
WIP - a small crossbody bag. Saw one over on FB - a subtle reference to my fav scifi show and had to make. Waiting for strap hardware to finish. I just love this. I made a mashup of art I gathered online to make custom fabric for the lining and printed on fabric using my inkjet. I'm finally using my new rivet press - gonna' rivet all the things. I'll eventually make a red (4 pips) and yellow (2 pips), so I'll have a set.
The lining text reads, "not flat - we checked".
Stay tuned - I'll post a pic when done later in the week.

Go to as many as you can and gain experience (your confidence will grow as well). Good luck, hope you got the job if you want it.FrankBooth wrote: ↑Mon Jul 19, 2021 4:38 pmDoing some job interviewing this week, rerereminding myself how bad I am at interviews.

This one seems like a decent landing spot, I got an email a bit after the interview for scheduling the 1st round of the round table section. That'll be on Friday
Thank you

Hopefully, someone with the knowledge can answer this for me.
I purchased RFID fabric to make travel pouches (wallets) for family. I wrapped my phone in the fabric and it blocked incoming call. I also tested the key fob for my door/entry and it blocked just fine, too. Can I feel assured that c/c's will be protected in the pouches... is the same reading/technology used on c/c as my phone and fob? I don't have a card reader, so I can't do a home-test on cards. TIA.
