Our only hope is impeachment - Pence will not evoke the 25th. Hard to say what Pence will do as far as a pardon is concerned. Trump put him in harms way, too. It was Pence that called in the National Guard - I can only assume that's when the 'divide' happened between those two...of course, along with Pence's confirming Biden win.

I honestly didn't think he would finish his term... maybe wishful thinking on my part. I never gave any thought to the possibility of groups forming a cult-like relationship with him... be that members of his administration or civilian extremists. What a terrible time in US history.

Pence had his whole immediate family with him at the time of the riot. He was pretty pissed off. The divide happened when, even after intense pressure from trump, pence interpreted the constitution differently and could not follow donnies orders. He sealed his fate with the press release that publicly stated that he (Pence) would do the job he is constitutionally bound to do.

I so want trump to lose it and barricade himself in the residence and refuse to leave. The sight of (I assume) Secrete Service dragging him out would do my heart well.
