my 2 cents, but deleting some of the most popular threads isn't going to get people to use EB more. So they changed anything goes to Art Related but there's still a Bourbon thread, Bitcoins, French freaking Bulldogs....mmmkay. Some of us weren't shouting into a void as the mods put it, discussion is important and that's what was happening between a group of consenting adults. Mods have literally over the last few years sucked all the fun out of this site. Deleting the Hookup thread that everyone used, can't comment in other people's sale threads even though that was the fun thing about sales threads, no more Dildo copter..

We've now gotten back to EB just being useful as a price guide. Good job.

To be fair, I haven’t seen any of the moderation they were forced to do. But I may have missed stuff.

So now all of ebeans is going to go to fudge like it did after banning comments in FS threads. At least it was contained in certain corners. Now it's going to erupt all over. Like that one guy in the stout forum talking about the KKK. Neato.

I picked up that "oh he's a drymounting dummy" torch a few times myself. Happy to do so, and will do so again if he continues posting dumb stuff elsewhere.

As for the entire section being deleted, after two minutes of reflection, I'm all for it.
There was absolutely some good conversation and topic discussion mixed in there, but it overwhelmingly just devolved into angry horseshit, and it was frankly kind of embarrassing for the site.

I think anyone who respects the dignity of the site appreciated the effort you made to show outsiders that we're not all dummies. It a tough row to hoe, but you were the right farmer all along Finn.
