But the program was used against many many more people than that. Only a tiny snippet of the details were released, the full 6000+ pages is being suppressed because it's too much of an inflammatory security risk.
They still whitewashed the full extent of the torture.
Btw, are you advocating torture ever being an acceptable method of interrogation (or even a punitive measure) just because of 9/11 Drew? If you're being inflammatory for fun then in all honesty I don't think this is the topic to go for, mate.

No, not trying to be inflammatory. I haven't been following it so I was asking if the torture was limited to known or suspected terrorists or if they used torture for other things.
But to answer your question. I absolutely do advocate torture if it can prevent a terorist attack, especially one the scale of 9/11.
I absolutely do not advocate it as a punitive measure.
