People are drymounting bananas. Who one previously thought were smart, reasonable, educated people turned into drymounting idiots, just like that. Same people complaining about lockdowns are complaining about masks and social distancing, arguing about vaccine efficacy and its side effects and refusing or not planning to take it. Might as well argue with themselves. Always referencing some fudge they saw on youtube, facebook, etc; simply refuse to accept simple facts and apply logic and common sense. Plebs and better-offs alike. Reputable publications and media don’t mean fudge because some rando on youtube stated some nonsense that contradicts the facts and reality. People with high-school education, at best, “debate” virology, ribonucleic acids, and other fudge they have never heard of before 2020: they have a “clear understanding” of how things work. It may have always been like that, but it seems like someone turned the switch and, voila, batshit all around.

I'll add to Bubbie's quasi rant to include stores that have no interest in following the state mask mandate.

The wife just fired off an email to corporate for BJs, a store that we have patronized for 17 years. Buncha maskless Karens walking around. Store manager said it is something they cannot enforce. Makes me wonder what would happen if I went shopping without a shirt or shoes. They would be on me like white on rice. The truth is that they have no interest in enforcing it. Their PA message just says to maintain social distance. My grocery store's message says you have to wear a mask at all times.

Costco is one mile away from BJs. My guess is that BJs will fall onto the list of stores that will be dead to us moving forward.
