Found a tick embedded on the back of my knee today. Last thing I need after making it thru a pandemic is lyme disease.
Think it’s gotta be in there for 24hrs to do the trick. Still, I’d lop ‘er off at the hip and burn a witch to be safe. You’ll have done this to your arm after the COVID vax - just use the same claim number for both

I’m hoping to save the leg. The doc and I agreed that we’d give antibiotics a go first.

I remember picking up my older brother from some sleepaway camp after 2 weeks and he looked like he went through a war. In the car he was scratching his head, said he felt something. We stopped at a small pet supply store on the way home to get food for the dog and my parents discovered a tick on the back of his neck, just above his hairline. What to do?......emergency room I guess. Guy working there was like lemme see. Bro puts his head down on the counter, guy goes nevermind the hospital I can get this. Gets some alcohol/vaseline and tweezers, pulls it out no problem. Thanks! We'll take another bag of dog food.

The story no one asked for.

Bitten will shed a terrifying new light on an epidemic that is exacting an incalculable toll on us

Sounds like a wonderful way to ramp up my anxiety. Thanks!

Don't sweat it....the only real certainty in life is death. If the rona or Lyme disease doesn't get you then cancer or old age will.

Blew out a flip flop.
Wanda: I can't stand people. I hate them. Do you hate them?
Henry: No, but I seem to feel better when they're not around.
