ouch - all I can write ...
Meatloaf
Bat out of Hell was deservedly one of the best selling LPs of all time. I've never seen someoe sweat so much on stage.
He had a few good movie parts too as Eddie in Rocky Horror and Robert Paulsen in fight club....."Bob had bitch tits"
yep - the news stunned me to a lack of words
I'm of the Rocky horror generation, spent many Saturday nights at the midnight showings throwing rice , dress up and reenactments. fun freaky times ....
RIP Meat

The activity bus driver who drove us back to our homes deep in the Oregon woods late night after sports, had 2 cassettes.
Billy Joel glass houses and whatever the big meatloaf album was. Always takes me back to hear either one.
RIP.

TMZ reports he was supposed to attend a business dinner earlier this week for a dating show he's working on — I'd Do Anything for Love — but the dinner was cancelled because he became seriously ill with Covid. Sources told the website his condition quickly became critical.
According to TMZ he was "outspoken about Covid, railing with folks in Australia recently about vaccine mandates".
just a foil for me today, thanks

Peter Robbins 73 -voice of Charlie Brown in several classic specials. Had a lot of mental issues that caused legal trouble near the end. He was recently in a ward under his own admission, checked himself out in last week and committed suicide. RIP

Douglas Trumbull passed away at 79 today, rest in peace.
He was the VFX lead behind Blade Runner, 2001, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Close Encounters, Tree of Life, created the Back To The Future ride at Universal Studios, and learned under his father who worked in VFX for Wizard of Oz and Star Wars: A New Hope. He set VFX standards in modern film, and was behind some of the most iconic miniature sets and film sequences known in cinematic science fiction today.

His movies shaped part of life. Involved in so many projects and has Jason slightly following in his footsteps.

What a bummer. One of the few singer/songwriters I drove to LA to see on a weeknight on multiple occasions.
