Haha!
I bought my little girl some $80 Nike shoes that she never wore. I sold them on eBay. Luckily I only got neutral feedback and I’m guessing no one saw it since I’m at 100%.
But this poor mom was bummed…
She said something to the effect of she’s never going to get rid of the smell. Probably spot on.
The shoes were in the drying room for a few harvests.
They must’ve drymounting REEKED.

learned a similar lesson when a Christmas present was opened and got some huge eyes - never really pondered the affects of cardboard saturation etc

had to be going on for years and my family, isn't to say, very open minded

Haha, wish all my prints smelled like that!

Bought a guitar amp off Facebook marketplace a couple months ago; got a $400 amp for $100. Was super cold when I picked it up and didn’t realize until it was in my car and I was driving away how much it REEKED of cigarette smoke. Let it sit outside for a couple days then febrezed the drymount out of it. Good as new!

In PayPal scroll down to the bottom of your welcome page and look for "view all" underneath your recent transactions then use the drop down box at the top to pick a date range, the default is 90 days
Did that…
I think missed it by a month or two.

As GF69phish commented, I usually fill in the
Add to collection form.
Price, Source, Number, Date, Condition…
Unfortunately and uncharacteristically I didn’t put the damn date or his EB handle.
Just the price $150 and Matthew C.
( I wrote first and last, now I know that doesn’t help )
There’s a slight chance it fell through or something, but it was logged in.
Name is not in my Messenger messages either so it was via EB.

Yeah Blue… one time Grealish took a couple of years to send a Johnny Lang SB Bowl i had forgotten about. I have definitely forgotten about collecting a poster or two I paid for in years past.
More on top of it these days.
Or so I thought. :x

ADVICE NEEDED.
Sorry for the huge read.
It just feels like something is off on this whole thing.
I guess it reads from bottom up, feels like I’m setting myself up for another disaster.
Never spent so much time on a two poster swap.
Here’s the last 1/2 of the correspondence.
Thanks for any assistance.

What’s wrong with you?
I’m bending over backwards with endless emails of reassurance.
I’ve never had to send this many needless messages before.
Did you even look at my feedback history?
This is a simple trade, you’re trying to play some kind of victim?
This is so bizarre.
Not sure if I should proceed with this swap.

Please look at my 19 years of feedback and relax.
People with no EB footprint send first.
I can’t just look at some tracking numbers and think everything will be fine.
That accomplishes absolutely nothing.
I could get an old sock, a damaged poster, but most of the time trades go bad because people cannot properly pack a poster and it’s damaged during transit.
This isn’t some shady difficult thing.
It’s Simple protection and procedure.
I receive the poster from you as described, in large thick craft paper, that extends 3” past the posters two sides, & fits perfectly in a thick mailing tube. The roll is taped slightly smaller than the circumference of the tube and firmly touches both end caps.. with no foreign matter carelessly stuffed in the ends.
I flatten it on my table.
I pack your poster.
I mail your poster the next day.
My next correspondence will be the tracking info.

I used to have a post office box and received posters there for 20 years. I’ve been having them sent to my home lately, so ups is an option.
Normally, it never was for people, because they will not send to post office boxes.
But most of us old timers will agree that overall posters are safer and tubes Get less damage in the USPS system versus UPS.
But, $10 is a lot!
Fingers crossed.

Mint.
There’s a micro micro micro bump bottom right corner.
Probably Unmentionable by everyone except me.
Not kidding.
I’d feel comfortable calling it mint.
I took two pictures of the bot right corner, I wish they loaded in order!
I doubt what I’m talking about is visible, or you’ll think it
was worth mentioning when you see it, :)
Confident you’ll be happy, if for any reason you aren’t, I’ll fix it.

None of these were signed. There is a screened on signature on all of these I guess Drew thought it would work for the entire run artist proofs and all and that a double signature would look silly. Just don’t want there to be any surprises. This poster is in 100% new condition.

Thanks! Jim

Haha! Totally…

No, we ship immediately with most people.
No one waits for anyone under normal circumstances.
( unless they have zero feedback … new members send first )
Feedback is everything when trading .
I know most of the old timers…
Personally met about 30-40 since 2005.
Did you check my feedback?
You don’t feel at risk do you?
That’s only 5% of my trades.
I just ask for feedback every couple of months.
Think about my position:
I’m sending $300 in the mail to a member with only 2 posts and zero feedback. Huge risk.
Not a risk for selling, PayPal covers me.
But trading? It’s one big red flag.

Ask around?
I don’t make mistakes.
Ever. You are in good hands.
I won’t tarnish my reputation for anything.
We trade, then you’ll have feedback from me.
Bam.

Thanks, Jim
