I've been to the music today warehouse. They are a bunch of minimum wage workers slogging through each day. My experience with them business wise was... Less than optimal. Much less. It was the kinda of thing that this kind of statement applies to: "you had one drymounting job to do, ONE JOB"

Going to see Bobby and the Wolf Bros tomorrow night…they made an 11x17 print and only made 100 of them available for the entire NYE run…100, for three shows, why even bother?

I can’t really complain.
Got it for cheap, and y’all are correct… it’s a beautiful print.
And kind of historic.
At least I think it is… that band was really something.
Thought it was like all the post Jerry configurations and didn’t bother going until 2019. Oops.
That 2nd night at The Gorge, the weekend before that SF final run, was some of the best stuff I’ve seen since that ‘91 tour with Hornsby.

I actually dodged a bullet.
The eBay listing was shady…
You know, one of those weird auctions where there are two huge paragraphs on how great the colors are, how great music is, and how it’s a miracle I’ve made it this far without the poster.
Absolutely zero mention of size, condition, how it’s stored, and how it will be packaged.
I Wrote with packing tips, and a request to look it over for any damage before sending.
And yup… damaged.

It’s a new year E Beaners!
Things are turning around.
Kind of, there was a dig on how Emek would get a kick about how picky I am and how I was just buying it to flip.
But it’s progress.
I think.

The price was killer.
Someday going to be mad I didn’t keep it.
But..
Probably other things wrong with it, and it’s too shady to try and pass that on as nothing wrong with it
Only takes a moment to mention it’s damaged.

If I were framing, I would just ask for 25 bucks off.
But I never got any Coachellas from last year yet..

There’s a really great Perfect Circle Santa Barbara on eBay…
If I remember correctly it says mint, there’s two pictures… the second is a substantial wrinkle through the corner.
It’s still in my watch list…
I have a couple or I’d buy it anyway.
Thought I’d mention it for some reason!
Probably a nightmare ready to pounce, don’t listen to me.

A complete imbecile was inquiring about Phish posters on EBay.
Asking for discounts and such.
I directed him here.
He ignored my plain as day directions 3 times.
Sketchy eBay messages all over the place by myself.

He went ahead and Bought 2 posters on eBay with over $75 in taxes.
Asked for a discount on a third.
This time he actually tried to figure Expresso beans out on the 4th try, but no, he is a complete idiot.
I say, no more messages please, write me on Expresso Beans, I can get kicked off of eBay for trying to help you save $150 bucks.
Next day ( today ) 5 messages on EBay stating I had better send immediately or he will report me to eBay. This was a barrage of threatening emails at 8:30 AM. I didn’t see them until 2pm.
He bought the 2 posters yesterday!

Refunded 1/2 his shipping. No thank you or nothing.
Just extreme displeasure that I refreshed a poster that I’ve had for sale for a year or so at a $100 discount, with his name in the notes.
A poster that I have 3 copies of.

I swear to god… I’ve come across some real pieces of work in my life, but this guy is a drymounting moron of
biblical proportions.
Probably will get bad feedback for all that time and energy wasted to save him a couple hundred bucks, and miraculously mailing his posters the very next day in the aftermath of an ice storm.
My kid had the entire week off school but he will get his tube on Monday.
Maybe even tomorrow.
