It went right up to the edge but didn’t crunch it.
I don’t know how it made it!

I've gone so far as to send a link to the EB thread on how to pack a print. It is usually only something I do if the print is of significant value.

I’d like to check it out? Post it in here?
I’ve been thinking about doing a video. Been getting a lot of tubes where people stuff crap in the end that gets pushed into the poster. It’s drymounting maddening.
Just cut the tube to fit the roll.
I recently read complaints about the post office raising the rates on long tubes. I’ve saved hundreds over the years with the bread knife… I’d like to pass it on.

Received this poster recently from a fellow Expresso Beans member.
I had stressed the importance of a proper pack job multiple times during our conversation. Explained about the bad luck I’ve been having getting damaged posters from people packing them improperly.
I was assured he had packing materials and everything would be awesome.
It was wrapped in 2 ripped up paper grocery bags.
It got really banged up… obviously didn’t have a chance in a 4” tube. Wadded up paper was stuffed in the ends, it slammed up against the end caps and the paper was pushed into the poster. The usual.
It looks like I have to write him again, he has ignored my first message.
Will keep you guys in the loop so you don’t have this happen to you.
This crap tube was from member Lumpyhead98.
He has read and ignored my 1st message.
The follow up message is sitting in my out box.
Looks like I’ll file a PayPal case on Monday.
Guess I’ll do a separate call out thread so people will know he is a complete tool.

Yup.
Like a girl with two black eyes.

Three different messages telling him how to pack it. Was assured.
“ Hi Jim, I just packed the print delicately and securely. “

Wraps in ripped up grocery bags.

Hey Jim

I'm sorry you are disappointed. I certainly did not just frame it in there without any regard. The poster arrived safely with no rips or tears...I've received so many in much worse condition. I have no intention of refunding, the sale is final. I am going through some.medivalmoroceduees and money has been paid for bills. I'm sorry you are unhappy with your recent purchases....
The pics you sent me are minor and meaningless, in a frame or in a book, that poster is NM and you got it for a good deal.
Enjoy

Yup. Folks that’s the follow up message from the guy that said that he packed it delicately and securely for me.

Pathetic.

Will let you know if PayPal does their job.
Don’t send this piece of fudge a dime.
He’s been outed.
