When the after hours thread was a thing, he had some great posts. Probably drove the mods crazy but that’s what made him...him.
Some of the wildest moments in EB forum history. Damn, what a bummer.

This is absolutely true. Sorry to hear the news. I'm sure there are plenty of late nights and ladies waiting for him in his own heaven.

This is gonna sound weird, but he got me to appreciate the vocal stylings of Jewel.

RIP gunter

Take care of yourselves...

Yeah this sucks bad. James was a solid dude and a really good friend. He was always up for a show whenever I came to Birmingham. His collection is phenomenal. Floor to ceiling through almost the entire house.
He taught me how to sneak backstage to get autographs at this one place we used to see shows. "Just act like you're supposed to be there." is what he told me.
We'd also sit on this couch in the back and shoot one of those air canon things at people when their backs were turned. Good times.
I'm gonna miss that dude.

Terrible news, definitely missed! Gunter posts were the highlight of many nights here, and his collection and frame ups were as intimidating as his avatar! I hope he rests well among the musical stars he loved

What? No way. I was just admiring his post yesterday about that killer Griffin Hendrix. :(

Man this one hits hard for our community.

Such a great guy with an undying passion for music.

Loved seeing his posts pop up and will miss seeing that avatar plus all the photos of him with musicians and all that framed art/tickets on his walls. Such an amazing collection!

For his short time on earth it seemed like he had the best time. I was always very envious of him posting with some of my favorite musicians.

I am sure he is up in heaven right now getting a photo with Jimi Hendrix or some crazy fudge like that....
