Calling all lovers of the talented Michael Everett. Michael has been hospitalized for nearly 3 months. He's hanging tough, but needs some help. He's uninsured
A friend of his set up this fundraiser on PayPal. All contributions will directly benefit Michael Everett. Please consider helping him. He's brought so much awesome art to the music community.
Another idea is if you have extra Everett art, please sell and donate the proceeds.
Any ideas on organizations that might help him would be appreciated. Thanks to EB for allowing this post! Peace, Leslie

bump for one of the good guys, donated
Damn. I have not seen Michael' name mentioned around these parts in a long while and it sucks to see it now for this. I bought my first Everett print back in 2002. As it turns out it was the first print that started me down the road of the poster collecting actually. I would be happy to donate. Sending positive thoughts to Michael!

No, I am not familiar with them. Do you have a suggestion for a contact, or should I create an account and share this there? Or contact them by Messenger? Thank you so much for your input!

They're also active on IG:

They used to have an Artist Relief Trust, but I have no idea if it's still in place or how it works.

I assume at the least, they may be willing to spread word of the fundraiser.
P.S. Why not do a gofundme page instead of paypal? I think gofundme would likely have a better outcome. I know of someone who raised almost 100k through gofundme when they had serious medical issues.

Thank you very much for your help. I didn't start the fundraiser. That's excellent advice. I'm pretty new to this. I've been friends with Michael since 1996 and love the jam bands! I really appreciate your input.
