Generally curious about this. Are they any links or relation to being left/right swaying and being way into prepping?

I've seen both, but consistently pro-gun. Mostly right-wingers I guess.

Filled out my first aid/med kit today. Trauma pads, antiseptic rinses, sterile suture kits, bandages, saline, hemostats, and QuikClot. This is the only stuff I have that might actually go unused. Hopefully.

Came across this the other day

Doomsday preppers are thinning out across the US, and it may be because President Trump quiets their fears

Most of the preppers I know are in the complete opposite camp politically. Weird how that works.

Every single one of us should have at least a small supply of food, water and other essentials at the home. In case of fudge that actually happens all the time...mostly storms and other natural disasters, etc.

ALSO

Every single one of us should have survival skills in the wild. People get lost and stranded all the time in various places.

How far you take it from there is up to you.

With children heading back to class, the CDC has issued free, printable Backpack Emergency Cards for young students. Most of you prob already have this covered, but figured I'd post it while the link was handy.

Are all the silver hoarders going to bury the silver in the garden when the apocalypse comes?

Good idea. My three year old knows our address finally - about to start teaching him phone numbers. This will probably help a lot.

I feel like I’ve got our shelter-in-place plan pretty well-provisioned (within reason) for a long-term stay at home, so I’ve shifted focused to our vehicles. I started emergency kits with basic bugout/survival supplies and even a small amount of camping gear. Additionally I am making sure each of our vehicles is emergency-equipped with flat tire repair kits, self-contained jump batteries (definitely some of the most expensive pieces of gear I’ve bought), vehicle escape tools (seatbelt slicer and window breaker), gas cans, fuel siphons, first aid supplies, spare clothes and shoes, and a small supply of non-perishable food and water.

While before I had one big bugout bag at home, I now have twin redundant bugout bags in each of our vehicles.

It seems like everything I read from preppers is "I HAVE LOTS OF drymounting BULLETS. COME AT ME BRO. I AM PREPARED AF FOR ANYTHING........as long as it involves shooting fudge"
