They’ve been telling me for weeks to upload my license and electric bill.
I gave up.
Doubtful the 5th time uploading both will finally do the trick.
Why would you need to upload either?

I transferred over 2K on Friday without any problems at all. Took less than 12 hours.

all of a sudden, today, i went to transfer my PP balance to my bank account. I get an immediate warning/pop up and an email that says:

We’ve received your request to withdraw money from your PayPal account to your bank account:

Requested withdrawal amount: $214.78 USD

Bank account: xxxxxxxxx

Transaction ID: xxxxxxxxxx

At PayPal, our primary concern is making sure that your money is secure. We do this by routinely reviewing some transactions. We’ve placed your withdrawal under review and this will last for up to 24. If it passes our review, we’ll release it and the regular withdrawal timeframe will then take effect. If we can’t release it for any reason, we’ll contact you.

We appreciate your patience while we review your withdrawal.

Thanks,

PayPal

never seen this or heard of this before. what gives? did some googling and some people are waiting days or weeks for their money. and you cant cancel a bank transfer. im hoping its nothing and it shows up in checking account tomorrow, as it usually does. but i got with PP customer service and they cant guarantee me anything or a time frame other than hopefully 24 hours.

anyone encounter this before?
has anyone encountered my situation?

i called them and bitched and they canceled the transaction and i did an immediate transfer (the fee based transfer) and had no issues, but i would much rather not give my money to PP in the future and do a traditional trnasfer

They're shooting themselves in the foot. Do any of the other payment services offer buyer/seller protection?

Glad im not alone, i guess. Ive had my account for at least 15 years, im not sure what flagged my account.

I dont think there are any other services that have the protection that PP does, and i guess PP is now really taking advantage of that feature. Id love to switch to another service at this point.
