Been trying for three drymounting weeks to pay via PayPal balance.
Apparently it’s considered rocket science now.

I've had a couple of sales lately where it says I have to accept the funds, I've never had to do that before, and if I try and keep it in paypal it tries to have me set up a cash account or something like that, no idea why so I just transfer to my bank.

I dare you try the route I’m trying...
I’ve been working on this three weeks.
They want pictures of your drivers license and electric bill.. multiple pictures... I’ve done each 3 times.
Worst customer service I’ve experienced in months.
They are setting up fees for everything now. Milking people dry.
It’s ridiculous...
Oh, want to yell at someone?
That will be a 48 minute wait. They removed the call back option.

working fine for me, but i did send someone a decent chunk of change recently and she said it took an act of congress to get paypal to give her access to it even tho it was a f&f payment sent from my balance. her experience mirrored what jim described. it only took 2 days tho.

I have had this same issue. Now every time I receive funds, I need to transfer them in order to use them.

Still can’t use PayPal funds for anything.

I used to not mind keeping a few hundred in paypal. No idea why they'd make that more difficult to do.

been using PP for years and years. have the same cards, account numbers, bank, address, etc etc

all of a sudden, today, i went to transfer my PP balance to my bank account. I get an immediate warning/pop up and an email that says:

We’ve received your request to withdraw money from your PayPal account to your bank account:

Requested withdrawal amount: $214.78 USD

Bank account: xxxxxxxxx

Transaction ID: xxxxxxxxxx

At PayPal, our primary concern is making sure that your money is secure. We do this by routinely reviewing some transactions. We’ve placed your withdrawal under review and this will last for up to 24. If it passes our review, we’ll release it and the regular withdrawal timeframe will then take effect. If we can’t release it for any reason, we’ll contact you.

We appreciate your patience while we review your withdrawal.

Thanks,

PayPal

never seen this or heard of this before. what gives? did some googling and some people are waiting days or weeks for their money. and you cant cancel a bank transfer. im hoping its nothing and it shows up in checking account tomorrow, as it usually does. but i got with PP customer service and they cant guarantee me anything or a time frame other than hopefully 24 hours.

anyone encounter this before?

I keep getting Claim the money in your PayPal account!!! Emails.
They’ve been telling me for weeks to upload my license and electric bill.
I gave up.
Doubtful the 5th time uploading both will finally do the trick.
