Congrats SOAM. Enjoy every minute of watching the little guy grow. Before ya know, your #1 is 35 and you look back on how quickly that time went by. I love being a Dad and I know you will too.

Yeah, those more than anything have lit a fire under us to get our mortgage paid off as quickly as possible so we have room in the budget for school - public schools in New Orleans are awful so you kind of have to go private.

It's more loss of personal time than freedom imo... I guess they go hand in hand. Still very much worth it, obvi.

Our daycare bill is more than our monthly mortgage payment.
