Great idea SRD!

Was lucky to get a couple new things this year but this is probably the one I’m most fond of. Crossed over to hit a few areas I dig and reminds me of a great day with some awesome humans.

My buying has definitely slowed down the last few years in terms of volume but I've been fortunate enough to pick up one or two amazing pieces each year in addition to the new releases. If anyone picks up one of Aaron's paintings and it's NOT their favorite acquisition of the year though I certainly want to see what is.

For me, hands down it has to be Venin

I saw this lurking in your original post and was hoping for a clear shot at some point so thank you. Love this one.

Love the nerd talk. Mine is To Harrow a Naif Bronze. I thought about a frame but it already worked so well next to Molted Foal 2 as it is that I decided to skip it.

I only bought 2017 releases

But I tried to get a FOTBO. Didn't happen. I'm a bad Horkey guy.

This was a pretty tough choice, as I was lucky enough to track down two big ISOs this year:

But the choice ultimately has to go to this little guy (The Halting Commons)! I was completely taken aback by talkingdeads' generosity with both his time and money last year. I just wanted to extend another sincere thank you for organizing this gift for a group of strangers on the internet! It's hard to top that, in my opinion!

Was lucky this year to track a few ISOs Down:

Over the Atlas regular
Croatoan
Pan's Labyrinth regular
And my favorite - Detritus.
