Next up, buffalo smoked almonds.

Meanwhile, when I pulled the cooking rack to add some smoking wood, I discovered that the fire ring is cracked in half. I'm currently waiting on a new top vent when the original started peeling and the second one didn't fit. Customer service isn't going to like me, but fudge. :roll:

I just coat the almonds in buffalo wing sauce, smoke, toss again in the sauce, smoke some more. It doesn't get much easier and comes out great imo.

So this past weekend myself and two mates competed in our first barbecue competition. Was a very hectic weekend with very little sleep, but I really enjoyed it.
We managed to place 8th overall, with a 4th in chicken and massive 2nd place in brisket!! Stoked with the result.
The categories were chicken, lamb, pork ribs, pork butt, and brisket.
