Anybody get the iPhone X today? This was the first time I actually woke up in the middle of the night to order one. It says I'll get it by November 3 (my order was placed within 5 minutes of launch through my carriers website). I ordered a case from Otterbox so we'll see. I've been hearing the 256GB Space Gray version is the most popular. I went with the 64GB Silver, so hopefully that'll improve my odds of getting one sooner rather than later.

This new iPhone didn't really blow me away but I need a new phone. I currently have an iPhone 6 Plus that's 3 years old and the battery is starting to go between overuse and ios 11. I could have opted for an iPhone 8 Plus but I figured for an extra $200, I might as well go with the iPhone X. I don't plan on upgrading for another 3 years so I'll get my money's worth.

The wife and I each grabbed a 256 space gray this morning and both are set to be delivered next Friday. We're both upgrading from 6s's.

Nope. That's X looks cool but too pricey for me. Speaking of IOS 11, my iPhone 6 battery life hasn't changed all that much but damn my phone slowed down to a snails pace. Might have to go back to IOS 10.

I grabbed a 256GB Silver X after a few hiccups. Ended up ordering from ATT for the first time (as opposed to apple since their system froze), so hopefully my Nov. 3 delivery date holds true.
I'm on a 6+ currently and like others have said, at 3 years it was time. Looking forward to the screen size going up and the footprint going down.

I usually upgrade each cycle so 2 years ago my wife and I signed up for the Apple upgrade program (got tired of selling them).

Picked up a 256G silver and black for pickup at my local Apple store on the 3rd!

Took my time ordering. Will get it in December. Haven’t upgraded in years. Currently rocking the 5s which worked great till the this last big iOS update. Now it’s basically a paperweight.

As others have stated, IOS 11 has made my phone slow down too and has decreased the batter life (same thing with my iPod touch).

A coworker of mine who ordered their iPhone X through Sprint the same time I did, says he received an e-mail stating his phone is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. Mine still says the order is being processed through AT&T.

iPhone X 256 Silver landed today and I’m more than pleased so far. Slick phone and setup was super easy. Face lock function works smoothly and quickly. Screen looks fantastic. I’m sure the hangover will kick in a bit when I pay the cc bill but so far very happy with my splurge.

Picked up mine and my wife's iPhone X yesterday. Coming from iPhone 7 plus.

So far I love the screen - so crisp. The notch at the top is a bit weird but I'm sure I'll get use to it. Haven't played with the camera yet but responsiveness is the phone is spot on. Still getting used to the smaller size, but so far a good thing.

Share your experiences if you picked one up.

24 hours in and I love the X. Everything feels natural and smooth. It's not as big of a learning curve as I expected, but I do still find myself reaching for the home button occasionally. My wife even commented that she likes it a lot more than her 6s and she is far from a "phone person." Maybe it's the same warped part of my brain that thinks paying hundreds of dollars for support hero posters is okay saying this, but so far, I think this phone is worth the price tag.

On a related note, after paying for my groceries with my face and tapping my ear to restart my airpods, I realized, I'm "that guy" and "that guy" is an asshole.

Day 2 and even better. Love iPhone X so far. Pretty much everything people have said above. Coming from a 6+, this is a major upgrade. Had my first hiccup this morning when I tried to unlock with my sunglasses on and ball cap... so the damn phone adapted and the rest of the day it worked flawlessly with both sunglasses and hat and without either. Like it “learned” my accessories. Thrilled with that. One weird thing is I see people bitching about not seeing a battery meter at the top but my phone shows one so don’t know what that’s all about.

Super slick phone. And photos are fantastic. Got to test drive those today. Colors look gorgeous on the screen.

All of this right here! I got mine yesterday (genius FedEx left it at my door). I live in an apartment complex and didn't want someone to swipe it while I was still at work so somebody from the leasing office was kind enough to grab it for me. The only issue I had was my photos for some reason wouldn't sync over (everything else did). I got them back today thank goodness. Other than that, as everyone else has said, the screen looks amazing. It's fluid, no real hiccups except my Face ID hasn't worked sometimes. For example I'll be looking at it and the screen will just stay black. Sometimes it comes up after a second or two and if not, I hit the button on the side to wake it and then it'll unlock. But easy to navigate and I find myself reaching for the home button too. Old habits die hard. Coming from an iPhone 6+, this is a big upgrade!

So looking forward to getting my X on a December 1st.
I'm still rocking the iPhone5 but looking forward to upgrading and seeing what I've been missing

What are people doing for cases? I'll be looking for indestructiblity with my kids around
Earbuds/headphones?
Wireless chargers that don't take forever?

I always go with the Otterbox Defender series myself. This is at least the fourth time I've purchased one and I've never been disappointed. The only drawback on this however is there is no screen protector on the case. They sell an Alpha Glass Screen Protector for an extra $39.95 so I'm rocking mine without one for now.
