Fat Joe's book was fire - I'm on the hunt for more hip-hop novels! If anyone has any suggestions let me know :)

You may like Questlove's book, Mo' Meta Blues. It came out in 2015

I still need to get around to checking out the one Rakim put out.

Just started We are Legion (we are Bob). Only a few chapters in but I really like the tone so far.

Just finished Demon Copperhead, Kingsolver’s latest and co-winner of the Pulitzer this year. Haven loved an ending of a book this much in a long long time. Even got a little misty. : ) Highly recommend this page-turner. Liked it a lot more than the other winner, Hernan Diaz’s Trust. That one was unique but very boring to me. His first book In the Distance is much better.

Just about half-way through this from your post. Really enjoying it. I do like her writing style, and am curious if her other titles are in similar style. Thanks!

I recently finished Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow

I bought this on your recommendation and have just finished it. Absolutely brilliant, thanks for posting, I couldn't put it down. It reminded me of Murakami, in style.
Paramount have bought the film rights for for $2m, it would be interesting to see how it translates to the big screen.

Flew through The Passage, based on numerous recommendations in this thread. Loved it. Just started The Twelve. Hopefully not disappointed. Seems like many seem to say it's good, but lacks the magic of the first one.
I put The Twelve down shortly after posting this and haven't picked it up again. Can anyone motivate me to go back, knowing that if I do I'll have to read the 3rd book, too? Or should I just move on to other subject matter, being fine with not completing the series?

Just finished Shirley You Can't Be Serious...

Being one of my top 3 favorite movies I loved it.
