Are you talking about the website goodreads.com (which also has an app) - ask because I don't see a "good read" app? I used to use it a bunch - I got good recommendations from the site, but I think it likely depends on what you're reading and logging (i.e.: if you read mostly popular books it'll likely give you less helpful recommendations).

Well The Girl Next Door was completely drymounted. Very disturbing. One of those where you don't want to turn the next page because you don't wanna see what's gonna happen next, but one of those where you can't not turn the next page. Goddamn Jack's a master.

Finished my 5th book by him of the year, a reread:

And now i'm takin a break from Jack Ketchum, and movin on to Jack the Ripper. So many Jack's lately. This book is very very detailed, lovin it so far.
