Exactly. Zero things lost, period.jjttdw wrote: ↑Fri Feb 05, 2021 11:13 amAgreed. Plus, they have never lost something I've shipped.ygolohcysp wrote: ↑Fri Feb 05, 2021 10:49 amMy specific complaints aside, USPS still delivers 95% of what I send on time
The others are not worth the upcharge to me.

Had this happen at the PO here in Brooklyn recently. First package never got scanned, 3 months later, buyer hasn't asked about it so I'm assuming it must have shown up somehow. Had another not get any scans for 3 weeks, then suddenly appears in the town it was headed to and delivered that day.
It's wild out there.

What about damage and rough handling tho? Who do you consider most reliable.jjttdw wrote: ↑Fri Feb 05, 2021 11:13 amAgreed. Plus, they have never lost something I've shipped.ygolohcysp wrote: ↑Fri Feb 05, 2021 10:49 amMy specific complaints aside, USPS still delivers 95% of what I send on time

USPS far and away the leader in reliability both in regards to delivery time and package handling for me vs UPS. Anyone that sends a tube with UPS has a death wish for its contents. I don't have enough experience with FedEx on either end to form an opinion.rubberneck wrote: ↑Fri Feb 05, 2021 3:25 pmWhat about damage and rough handling tho? USPS - Package eventually gets there. Has rarely if ever lost a package. Could complain more. But its price can't be beat. i also dont hardcore fault them for any major issues in the last year or so.
UPS - Very overpriced imo. Fairly reliable
Fedex - We use them for my work stuff and reliability can't be beat. But holy fudge they are pricey. occasionally i will use the corporate account to get stuff to and from
thank you for coming to my mail talk.

USPS home pickup is the way to go if it's available to you....my carrier scans on pick up. If I need to go into the PO I'll wait for a scan but I'll only drop retail returns into the bin.
FedEx has been coming up cheaper for me lately, used them a few times with no issue. I really only use UPS for beer if they come up cheaper than FedEx, and that's few and far between.

Relax, I honestly don't give a fudge.john38103 wrote:All gin every thing. drymount all you hoes.
Be careful with that if you're doing it online since the price they quote may very well not be the price they charge once the item is shipped.

Yeah. At my understaffed PO that would require at least a 30 min wait. drymount that.

Yeah saw they dinged you. Did it just show up as a charge or did you get notified through email/text etc?

It was through Ebay so I didn't know until I checked my shipping labels there. Cotis clued me into it happening to him, which made me check. If you're doing it through Fedex online directly, you should probably check your next statement after printing the label(s) to make sure the charges are all accurate.
