This is exactly what Dejoy wants. USPS going slow and losing money due to giving out refunds or paying insurance claims. Makes it all that more easy to push towards privatization. He was put in place to sabotage the agency and he's doing a marvelous job.
Looking forward to Postal X!

Twist: USPS failed again. They missed delivery yesterday and its getting delivered today. Im going to get refunded.

This one was from NYC to FL the first was NYC to Tennessee.

At this point i can keep trying priority mail express and just stop at my first loss and still be ahead.

It arrived Yesterday. 2 days late. However, no word from my buyer yet if it is in their hands safely.

USPS also waived signature. Which I don't understand why. They require signature for items of a certain value then they just arbitrarily Waive the signature requirement and leave it at the door? So a little nervous about that.

My refund for the shipping as already been approved.

I thought you only had to do that for when USPS does not automatically require it because of the insured item value. No?

Over $500 requires a signature.
But I’m not on their chitlist like you are!

lol. The USPS is nowhere near organized enough to keep a chitlist.

Looking forward to my next sale, I will likely go for the trifecta on PME.

I'm not sure how many people care about my Priority Mail Express experiment here but thought I would just update that USPS is bit of a Pain in the ass with the refunds.

1st refund - I was entitled to $164. They refunded me a seemingly arbitrary amount of $91 instantly, literally it was credited to my credit card within an hour of submitting the request. I had to call and open an support ticket for the remaining $70+ but I eventually got it a couple days later. Right back to my card.

2nd refund - Refund was approved automatically as though it went through no review, just automatic. However, no credit back to my card and it has been a week. Will have to contact support again.

So they do what they can to make refunds not easy but you do get them eventually it just takes more of you time. Worth it though.
