USPS woes :(
I think it is auto insured for $200 and can be covered up to $5k.

at least the edges are already deckled..
Actually I just had Poster Moutain flatten a print damaged like that
After they finished , It looked perfect on the back , but there were still cracks in the ink
on the worst creases on the print , but really , it looked almost perfect , This print has hope for it

I assume if you moisten it up enough without harming the inks, you can get it to flatten out, but I would assume you could never get it back to "mint".
What did something like that cost?

poster mountain is very, very good
Here are the Hello Kitty before and after photos .
Poster mountain charged me $150 and $60 fedex flat shipping , They said they couldn't fix where there was broken ink
but it seems like it sort of melted some of the ink back together during pressing. . They just "flattened" it they said, and I don't think it was soaked in a solution . I also sent another very wavy print that came back perfect .
I already sold the print , and the paper was supple and normal and rolled up as usual. I unrolled it twice to check and make sure it wasn't damaged (again)! Note: Hello Kitty is a varied color surface print which hides flaws very well ...a even flat color print would not look as good as this print after flattening ...Thanks Poster mountain !

That level of work by Poster Mountain usually leaves a print a little bigger than when it started. That said, it is worth doing for things that are seriously F'd up. I think I've sent 5 prints their way and was never disappointed. I had a thread with before and after pics...somewhere.

It didnt seem larger whem it came back , but the back had a softer surface texture . I think just a heat press was used.
really impressive work ! its surprising how it seemed to mend the paper ... yay!
