Hopefully you divulge the restoration before selling.

Don't they still stamp the back of the print?

I think they stamp the print only when they have done an gelatin solution emmersion
and the print is rigid flat . This print was just flattened, and was just as plyable as before,
and yes I discounted and told the buyer

That level of work by Poster Mountain usually leaves a print a little bigger than when it started. That said, it is worth doing for things that are seriously F'd up. I think I've sent 5 prints their way and was never disappointed. I had a thread with before and after pics...somewhere.
Yes Thanks, your previous post inspired me to send the Kitty print to them ,
It didnt seem larger whem it came back , but the back had a softer surface texture . I think just a heat press was used.
really impressive work ! its surprising how it seemed to mend the paper ... yay! :hanging:
One thing I've heard is that you don't want to roll the prints after PM is done with them. The damage can kind of reappear.

I think this depends on the type of restoration but I don't have first hand experience.

LOL

On a separate issue, is anyone else seeing shipping delays again? Everything I was supposed to receive in the last two weeks from USPS is late. The status looks the same as around the Holidays when it was not updating.

It seemed like things were getting better.
