The last two posters I shipped via USPS priority mail took 36 days and 25 days to get delivered.... both were delivered in fine condition, but my feelings towards USPS have been further tarnished.

It's almost as if USPS is being intentionally sabotaged...

It could also just shows what happens when you rely on big government to run things.... inefficient and non-profitable. From a consumer standpoint, my mail still gets delivered everyday w/o issue. I haven't had an issue shipping an envelope, if that is what you're implying.

I think Jerry would have been more concerned with the heads being locked up for 14+ years mandatory sentences for 1 inch sized pieces of paper under federal laws ....then street level thieves developing into murderers :)

It's a service, not a for-profit business, Mr. Swanson

hmm.. is it a service? I mean, I know it is a business that provides a service and "service" is in the name, but if you need to pay for everything that you use said government service for, I think it is more of a government funded/ran business. Most government "services" are free, and fully funded by tax payer dollars. While USPS receives government funding, and is often seeking additional funding, the majority of their income comes directly from the consumer. My comment was that various for-profit businesses provide the same and/or similar services, and they appear to be doing it in a more effective and efficient manner... without the lack of government oversight and without the continual funding from the government.

similar struggles with business vs welfare service KCN

now that it completely obvious the government will play with us just solidifies it needs better controls if not fully removed

not to mention how they rape consumers with false insurance protections.

once a few were prosecuted for FEDERAL felonies and went to jail for a Walmart flyer , my opinion should be forced into chain gangs and pick up trash in the fire zones - MAYBE those idiots would learn.
Just like it works with other crimes, right? Thanks to gawd we have jails. Otherwise, people would be committing crimes all the time.

Name one business that handles the volume USPS does in a more efficient and effective manner. Even the major carriers like FedEx and UPS constantly piggy back on USPS

Amazon, Walmart, Target... oh, maybe you mean a carrier service?! How about China Post.

Also, there should be efficiencies gained by processing such volume, not inefficiencies. This should automatically put UPS and FedEx at a disadvantage.
