She didn't notice the end was open. The postman handed it to her with the sealed end towards her and she stood it up on the open end without looking. I can't really blame her; I get a ton of tubes and as long as the tube is ok usually don't give it a second thought

The postman didn't notice he was delivering an opened package? Even though he brings you tubes often? ....

Seems weird, right? And a weird joke my wife didn't think anything about.

It definitely seems unlucky, at the least. And if a postal employee snatched them up, why didn't he tape it back up to cover his tracks? Just shitty all around. I hope it works out in some form of reimbursement for you.

So this is weird. Got back from post office and the lady there goes "oh yeah, I remember that coming in like that." She went in the back and multiple employees agreed that it arrived at the PO without a cap. They apparently have to deliver everything regardless, but said we probably shouldn't have signed for it. Regardless, I got her name so hopefully that helps my case.

I'm trying to be patient on this, but wanted to see what steps to take should I not be getting my poster.
I bought a poster and the seller gave me tracking 1/22/16. They updated that there was a snow storm in MD and post offices were closed, and the post office opened 1/25/16. I keep checking the tracking, but there is no movement and still shows as "Pre-Shipment." I tried calling USPS, but it's just automated and tells me the same info that I already know. Any help?

Kinda early to start getting worried being the east coast has been digging out from the storm. With the influx of backed up mail scanning items is probably a low priority.

For what it's worth, I had a print shipped from MD last Wed. USPS Priority. Never updated but landed in Denver on Sat. :pint:
