Forget cats, let's talk about dogs!
Inspired by this here thread - http://forum.expressobeans.com/viewtopi ... 2&t=115956 - I've decided that we really need a dog thread here. A place to post photos of your dog, ask questions about breeds you're considering, share awesome videos showcasing the awesomeness of dogs, complain about dogs you hate...whatever you want. Don't let the cat people have all the fun!
I'm happy to start things off...
This is Dexter. He's a Frenchie and will be 6 in September. He has seasonal allergies and suffers from worse than average Brachycephalic syndrome. He snores like a posterkiller and sticks to me like glue when I'm home. He's also best friends with my 4-year-old daughter.

Great thread.
My dog is Griffey, a Jack Russell Terrier. Bought him 12 years ago when I graduated from college...had no job or money, but needed a hyper active dog, obviously.
He is pretty rare in being all white but not albino. Had to finance him.
Anyway, I trained the heck out of him and he listens really well. He has killed countless rabbits, chipmunks, squirrells, CATS (muhahahahaha), and even two deer. Thankfully, I can get him out of attack mode by hand signals and voice commands. He will sit and stay for hours unless I release him.
Took this pic a year or so ago so show a buddy how he won't move...and damage a vintage Peter Pan six sheet, lul.

Great thread. Dogs rule!!
Here is my chocolate lab Bailey. He's 4 years old and me and my ex got him from breeders in KS.
He's definitely a part of my family.
Here he is with my niece, she grew up with him recently so he's ultra protective of her.

This is my buddy Fuji. He's an 8 year-old Coton de Tulear. He was born in Hungary into a family of show dogs, but he didn't quite make the cut for shows so he was shipped off to the states. He spent a while in Kansas, but couldn't quite find a home there, so he was sent down to Southern California, where I found him. He likes going for car rides, antagonizing other animals, hogging attention, and peeing on every outdoor surface. He's pretty aggressive for such a fluffy face and hates children, men, the elderly, and anything on wheels that isn't a car. He used to have external allergic reactions to grass, which is why his paw is sort of reddish in the photo below, but our vet helped him out with that and now he's stomping on lawns like nobody's business.
This sounds like I'm putting up a personal ad for my dog. Sorry, ladies, he's neutered.

About time. Man's best friend. My dog is a rescue, mixed breed, named Pancho Villa.
Here's our new little guy--Bear.

Although I cant forget about the cats, as I adopted 2 when the lady and I moved in together, dogs are definitely a mans best friend.
Meet Ajax. He is a Boxer. He found me almost 7 years ago. Was at a party in college and he was walking in the street outside of our house in the middle of the night. Came right over and joined the party. I spent the next month looking for his owners. Luckily, noone ever claimed him as we had become good buds.
This asshole was more popular than me around town....everyone knew Ajax.
and he was the best wingman.....
now-a-days, the old man can usually be found doin what he does best....

This is Ice Cube, my 3yr old Huskita ( Husky-Akita cross).
Had him since 7months old,he was found as a wasting-away stray and rescued.
Absolute nutcase, giddy as hell and had a tendency to eat my stuff in the early days.
My boots went entirely twice, all he left me were steel toecaps.
His favourite thing is sucking on arms like they're pacifiers, and staring at you until you move,at which point he steals your seat and looks smug as drymount.
I you IceCube!

Everyone has some great looking dogs!
Meet Montana, she's a chocolate lab. My roommate (at the time) and I adopted her in 2003. She's incredibly smart and obedient, as are most labs. Montana lives full time at my old house with the roommate but I have anytime visitation and every other weekend.
Here she is at 12 weeks.
Her favorite hiking spot in LA.
Happy Monkey.

I think Montana could give Bear a lesson or two. In fact Bear's name came from a town in MT called Bear Creek; which was my second choice behind Bozeman (a friend of mine stole that one for her golden). Montana is a GREAT looking dog, a really pretty girl.shagdonk wrote:Everyone has some great looking dogs!
