Tell me about it. They're by Julien Marinetti. There were a few dozen on display at the Palace hotel, along with a GIANT one in NYC 2 years ago. They're amazing.gorkie wrote:I love that statue. Wish I had one.

unfortunately i had no clue about this show in new york (or the statues for that matter) and learned the hard way a few months later in paris. would have loved to seen them all (especially the giant frenchie!) but as soon as we saw it, we were in loveDickButt wrote:Tell me about it. Like the painting above a lot. I'd love to have a painting like that of mine.

That painting looks awesome.
I commissioned my cousin for a 1-year anniversary "paper" gift for my wife. Told him to do what ever he wanted but it had to also include our dog.
Here's what he created and we have it framed up by our dining room table.

We were asked by a painter if she could use Dexter in a dog painting show she was doing this month. This was awesome because we always wanted to get a painting of him done and this ended up costing supplies and shipping since it was part of a show. The piece is MASSIVE though, like 30x40. I included the original photo for comparison.
