Same. And not surprised here either after reading about the principles and developers. Hope nobody here bought in.

Stick a fork in it now has a new meaning, quite the inverse to the traditional meaning of those words.

The snapshot is a file of all previous blockchain activity from a single point in time looking backwards. I can best relate it to a server. You take a snapshot before applying Patches/Upgrades in case there is a problem with the upgrade/patch implementation, you can rollback to the snapshot. Maybe not the best analogy, but maybe it'll help give people a visual of what it is

so i have a question, and please forgive my inexperience.

i hold a small amount of bitcoin. i keep it in a vault on coinbase. it was my understanding that when the first fork happened (sometime around august 1st) that i would receive an equal amount of bitcoin cash. where might i find this bitcoin cash now? it doesn't appear in my coinbase account. how do i collect it?

also, with the most recent bitcoin fork, where will my bitcoin gold be stored?

tezos?.....yep. I bought in. i have a fair amount too. but not so much that it will change the way i live if it all goes away. i'm going to hold onto it till the bitter end.

It's absolutely amazing how quick transactions are after Byzantium. Legit just set the gas to 1 wei and it's confirmed in no time.

btc trending up with a potential amazon announcement accepting payments.

Would think that's good for all coins, especially LTC.

I have no idea how people are actually buying this. The odds of them accepting any crypto anytime soon is absurd with the volatility. Never good for anything when rumors like this surface because if it doesn’t happen then people go crazy. Oh well, keep on keepin on and just see what happens in the next few months.

Private sellers on Amazon may take cyrpto and Amazon may just take a flat fee in USD per item sold and paid for using BTC or something similar.
