I'll say under a year. Gun to my head, I will say Feb '18.

I'm with you, sometime in August. Seems like a lot of people are allocating deposits and ETH purchases instead of BTC. ETH has a better word on the street for sure. Crazy to wake up and see another 30-50 jump. COinBase 24h transaction volume up 50% since yesterday.

Anyone still buying ETH with cash at $350?

I'm going to wait to see if it drops a little after the weekend, what do you think?

I'm in the middle of a bank transfer, but yeah, i'm hoping for a pull back to 320, but idk i just might throw it in at 348 or whatever it is by the time CoinBase shows my USD available.

CoinBase needs help and improvments when it comes to cash transfers from bank accts. They take the USD uot of my bank acct in 2 business days, and it takes another 3, some times 4 days to show as complete/available to me in CoinBase. I know they have a ton of complaint in about this specifically, and I know they are seeking a 1 billion funding injection, and got a % of that from wall street investors. I thought they may go public, not sure, anyone know for sure? Its the only major exchange stateside that I know of and trust at the moment, so I feel a bit stuck when it comes to getting USD => ETH via CoinBase => GDAX. Anyone else feel this way, have this problem (keeping in mind trying to minimize fees, as I realize I could deposit via debit w/ a 5% take between CBase and my bank)? HIndsight is tough. LOoking back, I should have just paid the 5% and took the 40% gains. But who knew then, right?

OK so I participated in the https://ethersphere.io/ page, I kept watching until 5 mins to go and thought why not! So I sent 0.1 ETH from a wallet with 1 ETH in, I made specifically for doing it, about 2 mins after it ended I had 1.066 ETH in my wallet! :pint:

Not bad :)

Not bad. I looked at that site and did simulations and it's interesting, and I like that their code is displayed/open, it'll help me learn their syntax, which looks very c# like. I'm going to keep watching and learning.

Please keep us updated. The only simulation I did where I lost ETH was round 4 when I went for the jackpot, and I ended up w less than I gamed with (wagered, come on right?). Anyways still learning and I might jump in at some point.

I am left wondering, how is etherssphere.io making ETH/money? Other than participating like you. Maybe that's just it. And also where the initial, genesis ETH, came from?

I was running errands all day and forgot about ethersphere.io again.

If I understand correctly, the pool today starts at ~2.8 ETH. If the total bids exceeds (1.05 × 2.8 ) the jackpot is activated. At that point, you are now biding to secure the jackpot. Highest bidder at the end wins. See DealDash and other crap bidding shams. The jackpot is 35% of the total pool collected that day and only the highest bidler gets that 35%. Everyone else who bids on the jackpot loses that amount bid. The other 65% is split proportionally between all participants, including jackpot losers. They get the leftover ETH from jackpot losers as profits, and the (1.05 × today's pool) becomes the starting pool amount for the next day.

Looks like today is the last day of this format so who knows how the hell this works.

Just got my trezor in. What a pain to load ETH onto it. Been sitting here stuck for 30 minutes already. :hanging:

Not sure if anyone else has this to help?

Used this website as my guide, but i'm just very confused.

https://blog.trezor.io/trezor-integrati ... 217a652e08

I was able to send from my current address over to myetherwallet like the guide says. I see the ETH then on myetherwallet.

So I guess my question is, once it's on myetherwallet through these steps I guess it's secure on my trezor? So confusing. ugh. I think I need to step away from this and try again tomorrow.

I'm thinking it's secure on trezor once it's sent through my ether wallet, but might be over thinking this. Just dont want to do something stupid and lose $

I was disappointed when I read yesterday was the last game for this version, I read it's going to be a month until it's back :(

Honestly doesn't look it. But hell, what I am gathering is $20-30 at this point isn't really worth debating. I'm starting to think hax was spot on with his $1k prediction. Miss Cleo this bitch!

If you're playing long term here, imo, just buy when you can. If it dips $20 does it matter when it's going to go right past that soon? If you're waiting for a huge dip different story obv.

Exactly. Also, still willing to trade some of my collection or some bourbon, records, etc for BTC or ETH. Why not throw it out there!
